NEW MEMBERS
Being a member of the Liver Support Group gives you the chance to put something back into the hospital. This can be a very rewarding and at times emotional experience being able to help other liver patients going through the transplant process. If you just want to come and have a chat with us thats fine, please see under Meetings and Location for times and directions, you will be given a very warm welcome, we are a very friendly group and would dearly love to see you at any of our meetings.
If you would like to get more involved with the wider aspects of the group, ie, hospital visiting on wards and counceling sessions that we hold etc, as with any high priority areas you will first need to register as a Volunteer at the hospital, then attend a 1 day induction course and be subject to a CRB check.
This will all be explained to you if you think you would be interested.
If you have had a liver transplant or been a carer for a transplanted patient we would love to have you "On Board".
